We at Buddhist Studies & Research Center are an organisation who are engaged in promoting Mahayana Buddhism.

In continuation of our efforts to make Buddhism a culture of the masses here, for peace and a much required change in the people’s minds in today busy and stressful schedule, we promote people to participate in the initiating process of the Puja and perform prayers for the various seminars being held for various programs. We are joining the rest of the world to make this planet a safer and happier place and eradicate the root of sorrow which is anger, ego etc.

We have a large base here with all the necessary infrastructure and people to promote Buddhism, our institution supports a large population many of them are volunteers from various parts of the world who interact and enrich their knowledge by exchanging the various cultural facts and documents – promoting Buddhism in the country.

The various art forms perfected and regularly displayed at our Center are:

  • Mandala of Chenrezik (God of Compassion)
  • Mandala of Vajra Tantra
  • Thanka
  • Sand Mandala Vajra

We are pleased to associate ourselves with the top Monasteries of the world in the above important occasion along with Vikramasila Foundation also based in New York, USA and shall support them in the current celebrations for Buddha’s 2550th Birth Anniversary that will see many functions and dance and cultural programs being organized around New York and also later in December the gala function for commemoration of Noble Peace Prize conferred to His Holiness Dalai Lama

As Ven. Lobsang Chodak is an experienced and popular monk amongst various monasteries and organisations – and is known for his splendid works in the filed of Mandala and Thanka pastings, he is constantly traveling from one country to another

At present he is stationed in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh and is teaching, making presentations in the northern parts of India. We would like the same information and knowledge to be dissipated amongst our learners and curious public of Buddha loving citizens in America for this purpose he is invited to give demonstration & participation in functions between from 22nd July, 2007 till 31st July, 2007 in New York.
